Glencanisp Lodge - 10% Off
Try to keep your eyes on the road whilst driving along this stunning single-track road, with views of Mountains, Lochs and wilderness all around you. 1.3 miles in, you will find a gorgeous old Victorian hunting lodge, offering 7 beautiful guest rooms. In 2005, the lodge was bought by the community of Assynt and is now run by an enthusiastic, local young couple- Sam and Rachael Hawkins. Right at the heart of North West Highland Geo-park, the Estate encapsulates 44,000 acres of Community Owned Land. The lodge provides the perfect base from which you can explore the wild and rugged Assynt. The path to the iconic mountain Suilven starts right from our front door and the views over Assynt are just breath-taking.
Sam and Rachael are both Chefs and serve up a delicious menu brimming with local produce for both breakfast and dinner. Be sure to book yourself a window seat- you will not be disappointed. Non-residents are welcome to dine in the restaurant too and booking in advance is essential.
